Russell Young with Austin's Commercial Texas LLC has represented Celite and Bo Busby of Hill Partners negotiated the sublease pact for Sun Microsystems, a computer company based in Palo Alto, CA.
The building, located at 7600 Capital of Texas Highway North, is 102,000 sf on three floors. It is one of three buildings in the Lakewood on the Park complex owned by Lakewood Properties Trust based in Newton, MA.
In another deal, Young represented SoloMio Corp. in a 7,645-sf sublease renewal with Niehaus Ryan Wong Inc. at the 1011 San Jacinto building, situated at 1011 San Jacinto Blvd. in the CBD. The seven-story 1011 San Jacinto totals 50,000 sf. SoloMio, a spin-off of Austin-based Vignette Corp., develops software for wireless carriers.
