The company sorts and packages second-hand clothes for shipping to Third World countries. Caleb Lawson of Houston-based Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group represented Global Exporters. Building owner, Casey Family Trust Inc., used Mike Palmer of the Houston office of CB Richard Ellis for its side of the talks.

Lawson tells GlobeSt.com that Global Exporters is relocating from a site about 10 miles away. The new location is a single-tenant, dock high, fenced warehouse with room for container storage, a must-have for Global Exporters, says Lawson. Location and cost-effectiveness of the site were the main factors in convincing Global Exporters to move its corporate headquarters. This warehouse is part of the northeast submarket, an area boasting about 25 million sf of industrial space and a 5.82% vacancy rate.
