The move will allow EGL to consolidating its operations at Heathrow Gateway from its three current sites in the Heathrow area. The letting follows the preletting of the 220,000-sf Phase One building to Consignia (formerly The Post Office).

British Land Director Nigel Webb said: 'This latest letting reinforces Heathrow Gateway as an established distribution location and endorses our decision to develop this phase speculatively.' He said the developer would now press on with a final speculative phase at Heathrow Gateway to provide up to 90,000 sf.

Rogers Chapman and CB Hillier Parker are joint agents on the scheme.
