Beazer's central division showed the largest gain, increasing 64.5% from January 2001 to January 2002.
The mid-Atlantic region showed a 30.1% increase and new homes sales in the West region rose 10.4%. New home orders in the Southeast region dropped 11.1%.
New orders for the West region include 17 units from Sanford Homes of Colorado.
