Peter O. Barnhart snags the vice president's title while Clayton J. Ciomperlik comes on board as marketing associate. The firm has been hiring steadily for nearly a year.

Barnhart will identify, acquire and develop properties for all types of future residential development projects. "Peter brings a very successful history of creating land development transactions that will be crucial to the service we provide our residential building clients," says Fred Caldwell, president and CEO of Caldwell Watson. He adds that Barnhart's financial experience and "excellent marketing skills will enable Caldwell Watson to provide an even broader range of options and services for our clients."

Barnhart has 10 years' experience in the industry, including six years with RealtiCorp Commercial Investment Fund in Greenville, SC. At RealtiCorp, Barnhart participated in development projects for more than 400 acres. "From property identification and due diligence to negotiations, I thrive on working several transactions at one time," says Barnhart.

Ciomperlik will work on marketing for the firm's office and industrial divisions. He previously handled outside sales of litigation support for the Medleh Group and direct sales of educational products for the Southwestern Co.
