"There are two upgrades we're doing," Howard Shockey's director of business development Daniel Enlow tells GlobeSt.com. "They are two separate buildings. The processing area will be expanded by 15,000 sf and the cold storage area by 17,000 sf." While the plant produces Kraft products such as Kool-Aid, Tang and Oscar Mayer Lunchables, the construction is planned to accommodate additional production of the company's Capri Sun fruit drink product. The current project, which includes the addition of more machinery and tools, marks the third facility expansion in the plant's 10-year history.
