Bill Byrd of the Houston office of Colliers International tells GlobeSt.com that Polymer Dynamics will develop the site into a manufacturing and distribution facility. The company will construct two buildings on the parcel.
Byrd wouldn't reveal the sales price on the land, but the asking price for the parcel was$2.25 per sf. Polymer also has a facility 4116 Siegal St. in the city's northern submarket.Byrd and Michael Taetz, also of Colliers International, represented the seller, Neeshaw Partners. Cooper Slay of the Greater Houston Group handled talks for the buyer.
Polymer Dynamics is an Allentown, PA-based manufacturer of functional polyurethane components. It also makes cushion insoles for shoes.
