The Home Theatre Store's owner, the Mody Group Ltd., purchased 1.3 acres to build a store, carrying a fall delivery. The Mody Group used in-house representative Mihir Mody to broker the land buy. G. Peter Jacob, director of retail leasing for Sugarland Properties, represented the seller of record, Town Center Lakeside Ltd.
Town Center Lakeside is located at the southwest corner of Texas 6 and US Highway 59 in the First Colony neighborhood. The retail park is anchored by a 175,000-sf SuperTarget and offers 20 acres of pad sites for sale or lease and about 55,000 sf of in-line retail space.
Aaron Brothers Art & Frame leased 6,689 sf. Like Home Theatre, Aaron Brothers plans to open its doors in the fall. Matt Keener of Trammell Crow Co. represented Aaron Brothers and Jacob, the property owner. It will be Aaron Brothers' fifth Houston location.
