Bill Byrd of the Houston office of Colliers International tells GlobeSt.com that the Westview facility is the first of the three properties marked by Rollins for disposition. He was mum on the sales price, but the building's asking price was $1.5 million. Rollins, a truck maintenance company, also is selling properties near Greens Landing and Interstate 45 and the Port of Houston. Byrd says it's highly likely that the Port of Houston property will end up being subleased.
Byrd and Colliers' brokers Michael J. Taetz and Parker Johnson represented the seller. David Martin of Haley Martin & Associates bargained on behalf of the buyer. The property is located near the Texas 290 and Loop 610 interchange in the city's north submarket.
Courtesy Dealership has a facility along Interstate 10. Byrd says the recently acquired Westview building will be used for storage, mechanics and related operations.
