Cub Foods Opens 69,000-SF Store

FOREST LAKE, MN-The new store at 2013 Broadway Ave. taps a new market on the northern ring of the Twin Cities. Eden Prairie, MN-based Cub Foods has with 40 stores in the Twin Cities area.

Company officials say they believe the Forest Lake area -- an outer ring suburb north of the Twin Cities -- was ripe for a larger value-priced grocery store.

Cub, a grocery store chain with 40 stores in the Twin Cities and 103 nationwide is owned by Super Valu, is a large food retailer and wholesaler based in Eden Prairie, MN.
