Paul Smith Stitches Together Covent Garden Office Deal With Marconi

LONDON-Fashion designer Paul Smith has bought a 30,000-sf Covent garden headquarters from the beleaguered electronics group Marconi. But it will still retain a presence in its home town of Nottingham.

Kemble House in Covent Garden provides 30,000 sf of office accommodation and will allow Paul Smith to bring several departments together under one roof. But the company will will also retain existing office and design studio space in its home town of Nottingham.

Paul Smith was represented by Churston Heard while Smith Melzack Pepper Angliss advised Marconi.
