Woody Mann Jr., president of Vista Equities Group, tells GlobeSt.com that buyers are lined up for Venture Tech II at 3200 Research Forest Dr. and Venture Tech III at 8701 New Trails Dr. He says the two buildings, totaling about 100,000 sf, are 85% occupied.
Hydrocarbon specialty manufacturer, Penreco, recently leased 14,500 sf at the Venture Tech III building. Companion building Venture Tech V was sold several months ago with Venture Tech IV still on the market.
Mann says his firm likes to blend development with acquisitions of existing income-producing properties although Vista Equities' specialty is developing neighborhood specialty retail centers. He says the Venture Tech properties are well located and well built. The closing for the two Woodlands' buildings is planned for May.
