The store, located in the upscale Lincoln Park neighborhood, is expected to open next January. Besides the two levels of retail space, the building will include enclosed and rooftop parking.
Mid-America Real Estate Corp. vice presidents Paul Bryant and Dan Tausk represented JDL Development in negotiations with Home Depot, which was represented by Steve Leonard of Strategic Real Estate Services.
JDL Development's original plans called for a mixed-use building with retail space and condominiums, which were 75% pre-sold before an increase in construction costs made that building unfeasible.
