Marc Hertzberg and Gary Anderson, both of the Phoenix office of Grubb & Ellis Co., represented both parties in the transaction. Hertzberg tells GlobeSt.com that McElvoy is moving out of the Phoenix marketplace and therefore needed to sublease all of its space at Coronado Commerceplex. The subleased space is part of a 72,837-sf building with 18-foot clear heights. Advertised lease rates at the property are 42 cents per sf monthly. The occupancy rate is 83%. The Coronado Commerceplex is a two-building, project, totaling 99,015 sf, at 5522 W. Roosevelt and 5525 West Latham St.
The signing expands the operations of Valencia, CA-based Contractors Worldwide Inc., which will be relocating from a nearby industrial spot. The operation manufactures mirror wardrobe doors, shower enclosures and mirrors.
