The high-quality, private-label grocer will open its latest location this fall, according to Mid-America Real Estate Corp., whose team of principal Stanley Nitzberg along with vice presidents Paul Bryant and Dan Tausk represented the property owner, Glencoe, IL-based Lincoln Grace Investments.
Lease terms were not disclosed. Rental rates in the area, however, range from $11 per sf to $25 per sf.
Among the 2,000 items in a Trader Joe's are imported fine chocolates, cheeses, baked goods, vitamins, mineral and herbal supplements, gourmet coffees and fresh organic produce.
Suburban Trader Joe's locations are in the upscale communities of Arlington Heights, Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Glenview, Lake Zurich, Northbrook and Orland Park. The company has reportedly scouted several other suburban sites since 2000, and was aiming for more than a dozen locations.
