The Chandler-based buyer is a wholesale flooring distributor that was leasing space across the street at 375 E. Elliot Rd. Expansion and the ability to own drove the acquisition from Franklin Covey, which is in the midst of consolidation operations and rolling them into its home base although it has signed a lease for a smaller office in Chandler.
Mike Parker and Bob Broyles, both of the Phoenix office of Colliers International, represented the seller, a learning and performance services company with 44 offices in 38 countries. Matt Lupton of Cutler Commercial represented the buyers.
Broyles tells GlobeSt.com that Franklin Covey used the location for its sales team and product distribution. The specialty firm specializes in teaching leadership, productivity, communication skills and sales.
