Already signed for a spot in the pre-leasing activity is a 6,300-sf Checker Automotive store, which is on board for five years. Patrick Cassidy was Pollack's in-house representative who brokered the Checker Automotive lease. James Mitchell of Checker represented the vehicle parts supplier.

Union Hills Central Center is advertising retail space at $15 per sf annually. The center is anchored by a McDonalds and AMF Bowling.

In the metro area, Pollack owns more than 50 shopping centers totaling more than two million sf and an additional one million sf of retail venues in California. Industry experts peg the portfolio's value at $200 million. Pollack is one of Arizona's largest independently owned commercial real estate companies.
