Realigent was nearly defunct when the current management team took over at the end of last year. The new team immediately sold the firm's XMLS Web division, which provided the financial stability to implement the 120-day turnaround plan. The company, which originally had 150 employees scattered throughout five states, now has 82 employees and one corporate office located in Brea.
"Everyone in the company has been working non-stop over the past several months to transform Realigent into a thriving business," says Thomas Chaffee, the company's CEO. "There is now a cohesive vision, clearly articulated operational methodology and stringent financial controls placed throughout the company."
The company is currently in the final stages of centralizing its accounting, order entry, billing and customer services processes into one system. In addition, it has established local relationships with professional legal and accounting service firms and providers.
