Vanderslice has exited his vice chairman and senior broker roles at Cushman & Wakefield Inc. to focus on Dallas-Fort Worth for Cawley. Coming with Vanderslice from the C&W ranks is Christen Phillips, who has been named associate director.

Ran Holman, Cawley's president, believes Vanderslice's reputation and strength in the DFW region definitely is the right formula for meeting a company goal to beef up its presence in its home territory. "Dallas is our headquarters, yet we have never focused on Dallas, per se," he said in a prepared statement. Vanderslice is sure to change that, say Holman and William R. Cawley, chairman. "Jim is so well known in the real estate community and he brings a tremendous amount of real estate knowledge and expertise. We feel very fortunate to have a man of this stature," Cawley said.

Vanderslice also was a member of C&W's executive board, president of the Eastern Region and executive board member for Cushman & Wakefield/GCI of Mexico.

Granite Properties has hired Jean Gaul as a property manager. She previously worked for Kennedy-Wilson International and Fults Realty Corp. She is assigned to Granite Tower, Granite Plaza in Las Colinas, DFW East and DFW West.

KJM & Associates of Bellevue, WA hired Larry D. Harrod as a senior estimator in its Dallas office. He has more than 27 years experience in project management, contract administration and cost estimating for a wide spectrum of commercial real estate sectors. He specializes in cost estimating for airport projects, coming on board with KJM's team for the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

At Insignia/ESG, Pamela L. Robinson vacated her vice president's role at Swearingen Realty in Dallas and is now a managing director on Insignia's Dallas team. In the past two years, she completed lease assignments valued at more than $17 million.

Azimuth: Architecture added Mary Bledsoe as an interior design studio director. She came from the ranks of lauckgroup, where she was a lead designer. Her project experience includes corporate interiors, retail, health care and religious institutions.
