M. Doreen Bhatt has purchased 1.5 acres at 3118 Harrisburg Blvd. from R.B. Everett & Co. The land will be used to construct a corporate headquarters for Lee Stationery & Office Supply Co. Project details were not available by press time. The land is located near Sampson and McKinney streets just southwest of Houston's CBD.
Doug Bates of the Houston office of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial represented the buyer. Mike Hill and Mark Emde, both of the Houston office of CB Richard Ellis Inc., brokered on the seller's behalf.
In another transaction, Iqbal Gagan and Salma Rafat acquired about three-fourths of an acre at 1517 Hugh Rd. Darren O'Connor, also of Henry S. Miller Commercial, bargained for the seller, Charles S. Swearer III. The property is located between T.C. Jester Boulevard and Interstate 45, just north of the Sam Houston Tollway in the city's northern tier.
