The deal was co-brokered by Inland Real Estate Sales, Inc.~{!/~}s Ken Goldberg and Wayne Caplan.
The seller of the property, occupied by the Supermercado Cardenas grocery store, was Jaime Rodrigues.
Inland brokers also were involved in three recent suburban sales.
A former Joseph Electronics store at 8830 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Niles was sold for $800,000 to W.F.T. Trust, which plans to convert the 15,500-sf building into separate retail stores. Brokers were sales associate Robert Wall and managing broker Richard Kehoe.
A 40,000-sf site at 1624-30 Ogden Ave. in west suburban Lisle sold for $300,000. CBR Industries, which was represented by Tom McWilliams of McWilliams Association, plans to rehab the building there for a catering business. Inland senior vice president Charles Hold, CCIM, represented the south suburban Flossmoor-based seller.
Layson Graphics~{!/~} 3,400-sf studio studio at 622 North Ave. in Waukegan was sold to Eash Trust, which plans to convert the building to office space. Wall was the broker on the deal.
