Famous Footwear will open its doors Sept. 1 in a building at the northeast corner of Powers and McKellips. As before, the Brown Group Retail Inc. of Madison, WI leased the site for the popular family footwear chain. Tom Woods of the Phoenix office of Colliers International represented the tenant and the building owner, Weingarten Nostat Inc., an entity of Houston's Weingarten Realty Investors.
Floor By Design this month moved into the Grove Parkway Plaza, a power center positioned at 1620 W. Elliot Rd. Larry Ortega, Dillon Tidwell and Kai Neighbors, all of Colliers International's Phoenix office, brokered the lease on the tenant's behalf. Building owner Elliot Read Magic LLC of Beverly Hills, CA used an in-house representative for its side of the talks.
