Austin-based USOL provides telecommunications services to owners of multifamily communities. In January, it hired a Hampton Holdings LLC, a Portland, OR consulting company, to help it find ways to expand from that core business and evaluate acquisitions and business development opportunities.
USOnLine, a USOL subsidiary, offers telephone, cable television and Internet services to tenants at apartments and other multifamily dwellings such as dormitories. The services are available in 137 multifamily dwellings in seven cities.
