With a management portfolio of 41 million sf, Urban Retail Properties will be the third-largest retail property manager in the US. Glickman joined the company in 1991 after a stint with Columbus, OH-based Limited, Inc. Urban Retail has managed and leased Oakbrook Center and Old Orchard in the suburbs as well as Water Tower Place on N. Michigan Ave.
Glickman replaced Gerald Egan as CEO. "There will be no change in the way we conduct our business," Glickman says in a statement. "We will continue to bring the highest level of leasing, marketing, management and development to our clients. We are determined and focused on building the business and on enhancing the value of our clients' assets."
