King Asset, the owners of the 2.65-acre site, began negotiations with Kaiser Permanente last year and changed the intended office use for the building to a medical setting. The developers, Dewet Land Company and CKAM started construction on the project last year.
The Serramonte Corporate Center is a 160,000-sf property, which will be completed by next year. It is located at 395 Hickey Blvd. in Daly City. Kaiser will use the center, which includes a fitness center and a parking garage, as a medical office building.
