Marc Drumwright of Houston's Southwest Realty Advisors represented JKL Land, a Houston-based real estate investment partnership formed for the land sale. Don Haley of Houston-based Haley Martin & Associates negotiated the deal for the seller, Austin-based investors Sweetwood Ltd. Drumwright tells GlobeSt.com that the property was on the market for approximately six months before the purchase at an asking price of more than $400,000.
Drumwright says the building plans are still being developed. It will be, he says, another six months before ground breaks.
In another land transaction, Cousin Creek Properties Ltd. bought 4.9 acres at 150 Carrie St. in Houston from Associated Warehouses Co. Bob Gulley of Henry S. Miller Commercial's Houston office represented the seller. Greg Hall of Mission Asset Marketing spoke for the buyer.
