The buyer, Leonard Chaidez Tree Service, has paid nearly $1 million for the property. The company plans to store equipment at the site, which is located at 2298 N. Batavia.
Leonard Chaidez Tree Service was represented by Dan Patterson of the Anaheim office of Colliers Seeley International. Brad Christian, who also works in Colliers Seeley's Anaheim office, acted on behalf of the seller, private investor Tom Walsh.
Another Orange County parcel was recently sold to a family trust that plans to build a new facility on the property. The Kaszton Family Trust of Irvine paid $884,200 for the 1.25-acre parcel, which it purchased from Systems Partners LP of Laguna Hills. The property, which stands at 6 Bunsen, is located in Phase I of Irvine Spectrum 5.
The family trust says it will build a 19,000-sf facility on the newly acquired site, which will serve as the corporate headquarters for the buyer's design and printing company. When the 6 Bunsen building is completed, the Kaszton Family Trust will move two smaller locations it has in the Irvine Spectrum into the new facility. Completion of the proposed building is slated for the first quarter of 2003.
