Bump was a member of the board of directors of the Organization of Commercial Realtors, the predecessor organization to Minnesota Association of CommercialRealtors. She won the organization's "Co-op broker of the Year" award four years in a row, reflecting her efforts to promote cooperative working relationships among commercial real estate brokers.
Bump also served on the Bloomington, MN planning commission, the park andrecreation board, the Interstate-35W task force, and was a member of the board of directors of the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.
