Clinton House Stays Section 8 After Renovation

HUTCHINSON, MN-The Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority oversees the 52-unit project rehabilitation. The $640,000 project is financed by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency through the HOME rental rehabilitation program funded the project.

The Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority, the area's local housing agency, administered the project. The work was necessary for the property to remain in theSection 8 program.

The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency through the HOME rental rehabilitation program funded the project. The HOME rental rehabilitation program provides grants or loans with federal HOME funds from the Department of Housing and UrbanDevelopment to rehabilitate privately-owned rental property to meet the housing needs oflower-income families and may require a minimum level of matching funds from property owners.
