The company is relocating from One Winthrop Square and its long-term lease agreement for the new space covers the 11th, 12th and 13th floors of the building, which is located in the heart of the city's financial district. The office tower has recently undergone a $12-million renovation. The lease makes Cambridge Associates the second largest tenant in the building.

Chuck O'Connor of Trammell Crow represented Cambridge Associates and Glenn Verrette of Equity Office Properties Trust represented the building owner in the negotiations. Maryann Gilligan Suydam, senior vice president of Equity Office's Boston region, emphasizes that the building's location will allow it to benefit from the Big Dig, which will provide it with "increased access and parkland at the building's front door."
