The Phoenix office of California-based Langdon Wilson Architecture Planning designed the complex. D.L. Withers Construction, an Arizona-based general contractor, is the general contractor. The building is supported by 12 columns representing the 12 tribes of Israel. According to published reports, 10 columns are inside and two are outside representing the Lost Tribes.
The building will house the offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center, Bureau of Jewish Education, Council for Jews with Special Needs and satellite classrooms for the Phoenix Hebrew Academy.
"This will be great moment for both the Jewish Community Campus and the community it's being built to serve," said Steve Hilton, president of the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus LLC. "It signifies that the combined vision of everyone involved in the project is close to being fully realized.
