The $180,000 to $1-million dollar homes will be located at Gosling and West Rayford roads, a few miles north of the Woodlands in the farthest north section of the Houston MSA. The 23 acres of commercial development are front and center of the FM 2920 corridor.
The commercial component includes a three-acre lake surrounded by a wooded preserve. Peramco president Doug Eibsen maintains the "scenic feature makes this an ideal site for an office building or other attractive commercial development." He says the tract is the only site with utilities along that particular stretch of Gosling Road.
The corridor is a mix of residential developments that Eibsen says is underserved by commercial venues due to the absence of utilities. "Now, with the Bridgestone Municipal Utility District providing utilities, at least a half a dozen major projects are ready to come out of the ground, including a Kroger Signature-anchored shopping center at FM 2920 and Kuykendah," he discloses.
