The capital campaign launched in the fall of 2001 raised the necessary revenue to support the project. The owner's representative for the project is Bauknight Associates, an architecture and design firm based in Minneapolis. The work was contracted out to a variety of Twin Cities firms: Schuler & Shook Inc. is the lighting design consultants, M&E Engineering is the mechanical and electrical engineers, Kvernstoen & Kehl is the sound and acoustical consultants andBentz Thompson Rietow is handling the architectural design.
The sanctuary renovation of the Central Lutheran Church, founded in 1918, will take about four months to complete.
