Cory Spanko of Phoenix's Wiley & Associates represented the buyers. Spanko tells GlobeSt.com that Desert Cove paid $850,000 for the 41-year-old building. Desert Cove specializes custom cabinetry and millwork design for the kitchen and bath as well as custom door styles, moldings, finishes and carvings. Spanko says Desert Cove leased the building about two years ago, securing a first option to buy from Orville and Bonnie McCullie of Phoenix.
Byron Wiley and Dan Howell, also of Wiley & Associates, represented the McCullies at the closing table. Spanko says the couple is retiring and ready to sell the long-time investment property. Spanko wasn't sure exactly how long the McCullies had owned the property, but knew it was several years.
