Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp., which owns the structure, didn't disclose the lease's value. But in its first-quarter analysis, Coral Gables, FL-based RealData Information Systems estimates the full-service rent at $27.93 per sf and the occupancy at 67.78% with 83,501 sf vacant. The building has 259,173 sf of office and 25,000-sf of ground-floor retail.
Wachovia is moving its regional headquarters to the 350 Las Olas tower where 112 employees will be housed. The bank will continue to serve Downtown customers from its existing 200 E. Broward Blvd. location.
Wachovia set up its first Broward County branch in 1999, leasing 9,113 sf of office space and 2,750 sf of retail branch banking space at 350 Las Olas. Kathy Grandis of Stiles Realty handled the new Wachovia lease.
