Fitzpatrick Leaves Smith Seckman for Miller Construction

MIAMI-She will be vice president/business development for the Fort Lauderdale, FL-based general contractor which is beefing up staff as it scouts for new work in South Florida.

Fitzpatrick comes to Miller from Deerfield Beach, FL-based Smith Seckman Reid Inc., a national engineering firm, where she was business development director. She held the same position previously in the South Florida office of Professional Service Industries Inc. (PSI), also a national engineering firm in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

Miller, a 29-year-old general contractor, has built 400 office, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and healthcare buildings in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties since its startup year.
