Costco is located just south of the school district property, located at 4141 Fourth Ave. S., and the store currently boasts about 350 parking spaces. It also leases some land from the district to provide about 100 spaces. But the company says it needs about 750 spaces.
In addition to land for parking, the parcel also includes a 117,610-sf building, which the Seattle School District intends to vacate at the end of the year. Costco says it has no immediate plans for the building.
