Matt Hobaica of the Phoenix office of Lee & Associates tells GlobeSt.com that the West Highland Avenue location worked for his displaced client because it offered a large fenced yard for the trucks and materials plus provided grade-level loading. The building is situated on 1.12 acres.

David Johnson, also with Lee & Associates represented the seller, CEG Properties of Phoenix. Hobaica says the sellers operated its business, Capital Electric Supply Co., from the site before selling out to Capital Electrical Distributors Inc. Following the 1997 acquisition, CED leased the building for a short time before consolidating operations to its 7310 Roosevelt St. location, leaving the building empty and ready for sale.
