At NCTA, Binzel represented the the cable industry before Congress and the Federal Communications Commission. Prior to her NCTA post, she was senior vice president of government relations at News Corporation/Fox Broadcasting and a director of government relations at Turner Broadcasting.
CoreNet was formed May 1 of this year, integrating the International Development Research Council (IDRC) and International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE).
