The $2.3-million acquisition will allow the company to expand into Santa Ana. "We've wanted to expand for years, but it's extremely difficult to find a location suitable for our specific needs and type of business," says Kye Weung, the owner of European Motor Car Works. Weung plans to open a second location at the Santa Ana site, which will enable the company "to be more accessible and better serve our clients' needs." European Motor Car Works has been based in Costa Mesa for 25 years.
European Motor Car Works was represented by Mike Bouma of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Anahiem Metro office. Mike Hartel and Kevin Turner of Colliers Seeley acted on behalf of the seller, HW Dyer LLC.
