"Typically, when any feature decides to come into Maryland, one of our tasks is to find office and warehouse space," Maryland Film Commission director Jack Gerbes tells GlobeSt.com. "With the past four shows shot in Maryland, we've had good success in finding appropriate space."
The challenge in finding space is elevated because these companies are seeking short-term leases. Gerbes would not comment specifically on DreamWorks, but did add that while the market for short-term leases is tight, it is not as tight as it has been in the past.
