Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman will be occupying the entire 22nd floor at 700 Louisiana. The 21-year-old, 1.3-million-sf office building is owned by Houston-based Hines Interests.

Hines' representatives Ronnie Martin and Rush Durkin brokered the long-term contract for the now 98%-occupied office tower. Drew Lewis and John Silberman, both of NAI Partners Commercial in Houston, handled the expansion talks for the tenant.

Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman specializes in litigation, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, employment practices and litigation and family and matrimonial law. The Houston office is complemented by offices in New York City, Newark and Atlanta.

In the NASA/Clear Lake submarket, accountant Gregory Alexander inked a deal for 1,579 sf of office space at 711 W. Bay Area Blvd. Coy Davidson of the Houston office of Colliers International represented the tenant. Kevin Nolan of Houston's Moody Rambin Interests negotiated the terms for building owner, CCI-711 Bay Area Ltd.
