HSA Commercial Real Estate represented Tricon in the purchase of the far north suburban site. It also has worked with Tricon on a deal in west suburban Oak Park, where a Pizza Hut/KFC restaurant is being developed. While HSA Commercial vice president Michael Havdala represented Tricon, Trent Garrett of Simon Properties represented the previous owner of the property.
Parent company Tricon Restaurants International opened its 11,000th restaurant earlier this year in the United Kingdom.
