According to Corey Bialow, director of real estate and construction for The Vitamin Shoppe, says that the company has been searching for a suitable location for a new store in the Boston area for nearly three years. This newly built facility in the heart of, what he calls "one of the most prestigious retail hubs in the region" met all of the company's requirements.
The new facility is located near Route 95 and the Burlington Mall. Gene Crowley of Milestone Associates represented The Vitamin Shoppe in this transaction. The company, founded in 1977, has 110 stores across the US and is one of the largest specialty retailers and direct marketers of nutritional products in the country. According to a released statement, the company is expanding in major markets throughout the country.
