The locally based developer has selected Stirling International Realty Inc. of Heathrow, FL to market the venture which is expected to break ground no later than Aug. 1, be completed by year end and then sold to a third party.
Stirling owner Roger Soderstrom thinks the project is a slam dunk. "Golden Executive Aviation is the first new hangar facility to be built at Orlando/Sanford International Airport in several years and most hangar facilities (for private executive aircraft) in the Orlando area are (already) fully leased," Soderstrom says in a prepared statement.
Executive and T-hangars will be 1,295 sf to 3,600 sf. Leasing rates are still being worked out.
"As a long-term commercial property investment, the Golden Executive Aviation facility offers enormous value," says Soderstrom who has been marketing single and multifamily residential products for the past 20 years in metro Orlando.
"In a market of rapidly increasing demand, at an airport that projects enormous growth over the next 10 years, quality executive hangar and maintenance facilities are in very limited supply," Soderstrom says.
Stirling commercial property specialists Pamela Middleburg and John McKinney are marketing the project.
