The apartment complex will sit off Hunton Park Boulevard and will consist of 14 structures that will vary in height from two stories to four stories. The property will also offer 60 detached garages as well as a two-story community clubhouse. Hanover has a few obstacles to overcome before construction can get underway on the project.
The developer has applied for the rezoning of the portion of the parcel that is designated Environmental Protection Area. "The requested zoning change is compatible with the surrounding area and consistent with the 2010 Land Use Plan," Henrico County Planning Commission members concluded following a recent meeting. "Staff recommends approval of this request."
