M&M president/CEO Harvey E. Green credits Berman with making the six-year-old Fort Lauderdale, FL office one of the firm's top 10 offices. The company's gross revenue in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties has increased 40% annually. The Fort Lauderdale office was ranked eighth out of 34 Marcus & Millichap offices in 2001.
Berman joined M&M in 1982 as a sales associate in the Encino office and was named regional manager/vice president in 1996 when he opened the Fort Lauderdale office. He was named the firm's regional manager of the year in 2001.
Berman was elected a vice president in 1997 and a first vice president in 2001.
