Hopkins leaves Cresa Partners where he focused on corporate representation since 1997. At Crow, Hopkins will focus on growing the firm's corporate advisory services business in South Florida, working with Bob Orban, senior vice president/office tenant representation.TCC completed 4.5 million sf of tenant rep transactions in Florida in 2001.

"The tenant representation business in the Miami market holds great opportunity for us and Carter brings all the right skills to accelerate our business down here," Orban says in a prepared statement.

Hopkins' track record includes aiding Houston-based Hines Interests Inc. in the $17 million purchase of a 3.5-acre city block in Downtown Coral Gables, FL that is being developed for a class A office venture.

He subleased 100,000 sf of office for Humana in Miami; represented the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches in relocating their headquarters; established a new 27,000-sf office for SchlumbergerSEMA in Jacksonville, FL; and completed a 75,000-sf lease with Interamericana Transport industries in west Dade county.

The Florida Southern College graduate was a founding president/managing partner of Keystone Realty Advisors Inc., a private real estate investment firm in Coral Gables, from 1990 to 1997. He was with Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. from 1988 to 1989 and with Grubb & Ellis Co. from 1986 to 1988.
