The top-to-bottom makeover was crafted by Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments. The redo included an exterior facelift coupled with a change in architectural style to a Mediterranean village-theme. It also featured new colors and signs to go along with landscape improvements and a parking lot resurfacing. "It's as dramatic a change as any renovation we've ever done," president Michael Pollack said in a prepared statement. He acquired the center in 1993.

The tenant roster includes Change Point, a non-profit organization benefiting underprivileged families as well as El Rancho Market, Chinese Panda Inn Buffet and Dolex Dollar Express. The center's quoted rate is $12 per sf.

Pollack is well known for his undertakings in metro Phoenix, where his specialty has been to acquire and reposition dilapidated or aging properties. The firm owns more than two million sf of retail space in 65 centers in the Southwest US.
