American Eagle Outfitters took 5,800 sf for 10 years. Hound Dogs Restaurant also cleared a 10-year deal, signing for 1,109 sf. Rockfish Seafood Grill will occupy 5,500 sf for 15 years.
The District at Desert Ridge is the centerpiece of the Desert Ridge Marketplace, a 110-acre suburban community that combines specialty retailers with entertainment offerings, theme-dining establishments and an 18-screen AMC movie theater. The District is an open-air design positioned on the northeast corner of the Loop 101 Freeway and Tatum Boulevard. It already has such notable tenants as Barnes & Noble, Pacific Sunwear, TGI Friday's, California Pizza Kitchen, Bahama Breeze and XI Clothing. Dave Cheatham and Darren Pitts, both of the Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis Inc., hold the assignment for the project, owned by Vestar Development Co. of Phoenix.
